Former President Ershad’s Wife Bidisha Arrested Over Fraud

Bangla Press Desk: Police have arrested Bidisha Ershad, former wife of former president and Jatiya Party founder HM Ershad.Police detained her from Gulshan around 8:30pm Tuesday, Gulshan Police chief Daud Hossain said.

“She was arrested under a warrant in a fraud case,” he said. The case had resulted in a two-year prison sentence and a Tk 10,000 fine for Bidisha, the police officer added.
