Four Districts Get New Deputy Commissioners
Bangla Press Desk: The government on Wednesday appointed new deputy commissioners to four districts – Rajbari, Thakurgaon, Pabna and Rangpur – three days after appointing new deputy commissioners to eleven other districts.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification announcing the latest appointments.
The new deputy commissioners in the four districts are: Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority Director Afroza Parvin to Rajbari, Public Administration Ministry Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Huk to Thakurgaon, the ministry’s Deputy Secretary Aminul Islam to Pabna and Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission Director Mohammad Ruhul Amin to Rangpur.
The ministry has also withdrawn the deputy commissioners from the four districts and attached them to the ministry until future appointments.
Since 1 March, the government has withdrawn deputy commissioners from 20 districts in three stages.
