Four killed as sand-laden truck rams into market in Rajshahi

Bangla Press Desk:  Four people were killed and several others injured when a sand-laden truck lost control and overturned after crashing into a market in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at around 7:45am in the Jhalmalia Bazar area of the upazila.

In a statement, the local Fire Service and Civil Defence said it received information about the incident at 7:50am and reached the spot at 7:55am.

One unit from the Puthia Fire Station and another from the Natore Fire Station are carrying out rescue operations, the statement added.
