Government to Set Up Technology University in Mohammadpur

Bangla Press Desk:  The government has taken an initiative to set up a public technology university in Bosila area of Mohammadpur, said State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj.

The university would be established as part of efforts for developing Mohammadpur into a centre of modern education, the state minister said while speaking at a programme held at the Firoza Bashar Ideal College in Bosila on Saturday.At the event, top scores in the SSC 2026 exams were felicitated.

Speaking as the chief guest, Bobby Hajjaj said the nation now stands before a “new era in human civilization and progress.”

In this new era, artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies are set to reshape economic fundamentals and upend the job market. Many existing jobs will be lost, while new types of jobs will be created in the tech-powered global economic overhaul, Bobby Hajjaj said.

To keep up with the world, the country’s young generation must be prepared from now, he said.

The proposed technology university in Mohammadpur would provide lessons on a range of advanced technologies.
