Govinda hospitalised after collapsing at home

Bangla Press Desk:   Bollywood actor Govinda was admitted to a hospital early Wednesday morning after suddenly falling ill at his Juhu residence.

According to family sources, the actor collapsed around dawn and was immediately rushed to CritiCare Asia Multi-Speciality Hospital in Juhu.

Confirming the development, Govinda’s lawyer Lalit Bindal said, “On Wednesday morning, Govinda started feeling unwell and soon lost consciousness. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where several medical tests were conducted. We are now awaiting the reports and the opinion of the neurosurgeon. At present, Govindaji is stable.”

A day earlier, Govinda had visited veteran actor Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai, where he was undergoing treatment. Eyewitnesses said Govinda appeared visibly sombre while leaving the hospital.

This marks the second time in a year that the actor has been hospitalised. On 1 October last year, he suffered a leg injury when a bullet accidentally discharged from his revolver while he was cleaning it at home.

As news of his latest hospitalisation spread, fans across India flooded social media with prayers and messages wishing the popular star a speedy recovery.
