Bangla Press Desk: The government has accepted all the demands raised by the protesters of Jagannath University (JnU), including housing allowances, full budget approval, campus expansion and justice for the police action against teachers.
University Grants Commission Chairman Prof SMA Faiz came up with the announcement hours after the protesters started a hunger strike occupying the Kakrail intersection in Dhaka to press home their demand.
Earlier the announcement, Information Adviser Mahfuj Alam in his verified Facebook page wrote that the government will soon announce the roadmap to meet the demand.
The education adviser will immediately announce a clear roadman within hours to resolve the JnU problems, including the residential crisis, he wrote in the post.
