Govt Retires Seven ASPs and 49 Inspectors From Police Service

Bangla Press Desk: The government has sent seven assistant superintendents of police (ASPs) and 49 inspectors into mandatory retirement from public service.

The Police- 1 and Police- 2 branches of the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the development in two separate notifications issued on Thursday.

The notifications stated that the 56 officers serving in the Bangladesh Police had completed 25 years of service.

They were sent into retirement from government service in the public interest under Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.
