Hold July Charter referendum before nat'l polls: Jamaat tells govt

Bangla Press Desk:  Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar on Sunday said the government must amend its law and hold the July Charter implementation referendum before the national elections scheduled for early February.

“In a bid to press home the demand, Jamaat and its allies do not wish to push the government into a major trouble that would shatter the dreams of rebuilding the country, and undermine the sacrifices of thousands,” he said while speaking at a public rally held at Rajshahi Madrasa Maidan.
