They demanded that the true circumstances behind Fazlur Rahim Kajol's death be uncovered and that the culprits be brought to justice through a proper investigation.

According to family sources, Fazlur Rahim Kajol left home on the morning of October 7 to withdraw funds for the solar power project from the bank. Subsequently, his mobile phone was found to be switched off. Despite searching various locations, his family members could not locate him. That night, his son, Maruf Hasan Ronok, filed a General Diary (GD) at the Dharmapasha Police Station. Two days after he went missing, police recovered his body on the morning of Friday, October 9, from a tree in a wooded area along the banks of the Kangsha River near Birampur village in Mohanganj Upazila, Netrokona.
Speakers noted that at the time of recovery, a rope was wrapped around his neck, and the body was found positioned on a tree branch.
The deceased's elder brother, Fazlul Karim Bulbul, claimed the incident was a premeditated murder. He stated that the body was found resting on a tree branch. He demanded that the true mystery behind the incident be uncovered, a proper investigation conducted, and those involved brought to justice and given exemplary punishment.
