Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for the Barguna-2 constituency, Nurul Islam Moni, exchanged views with journalists at the Barguna Circuit House.
Bangla Press Desk: Md. Nurul Islam Moni, the Chief Whip of the National Parliament, remarked that if electricity could be generated through "long marches," the BNP would have been the first to organize one. He stated that the government is working towards the overall welfare and the betterment of the people's lives.
He made these remarks this Wednesday afternoon while exchanging views with journalists at the conference room of the Barguna Circuit House. The Member of Parliament for the Barguna-2 constituency is currently visiting Barguna on an eight-day tour.
Referring to Tarique Rahman's leadership and his directives to party leaders and activists, Nurul Islam Moni mentioned that Tarique Rahman had delivered a stern message to MPs during a special session in the National Parliament. He emphasized the importance of working closely with party members and standing by them.
Highlighting Tarique Rahman's zero-tolerance policy regarding extortion, land grabbing, and acts of terror within the party, Nurul Islam Moni stated that there is absolutely no room for such activities. He warned that strict action would be taken against anyone involved in such misconduct.
Describing Tarique Rahman's leadership as a stroke of good fortune for the nation, the Chief Whip remarked that it is a blessing for Bangladesh that a person like Tarique Rahman has become the country's Prime Minister. He added that if the opportunity presented by the current leadership is not seized, it remains questionable whether the country will be governed as effectively in the future.
