International Security and Safety Expo begins Thursday in Dhaka
Bangla Press Desk:   To build business relationships between domestic security and safety product manufacturers, suppliers, importers, software and cyber security sector entrepreneurs and businesspeople with international leading technology institutions, the 'International Security and Safety Expo 2025' has begun in Dhaka. Through this event, a significant opportunity will be created for the exchange of trade relations and security-safety technology between domestic and foreign technology institutions. The 'International Security and Safety Expo-2025' exhibition was inaugurated on Thursday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital, with Chief Guest Faiz Ahmed Taiyab, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor on Posts and Telecommunications. The three-day 'International Security and Safety Expo-2025' is being jointly organized by the country's technology service provider institution I-Station Limited, the commercial organization of information technology businesspeople Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS), and Dubai's technology company GPE Expo (FZE). It will run until next September 20, Saturday.
The organizers have informed that Business-to-Business (B2B) sessions will be held on the occasion of the official inauguration of the exhibition. This will provide an opportunity for domestic security and safety product manufacturers, suppliers, importers, software, banking, corporate, and cyber security sector entrepreneurs and businesspeople to discuss various business topics with representatives of international leading technology institutions. Through this, smart connections will be established between international innovations and domestic security technology sectors. This will create new opportunities for business expansion for all domestic security and safety product entrepreneurs. The organizers have also informed that this three-day international exhibition will also feature the 'International Occupational Safety, Health and Fire Expo (IOSHFE)'. Leading technology institutions from various countries around the world will showcase their latest security and safety-related technologies. Such as workplace ultra-secure security technology, security equipment, smart monitoring systems, health and fire safety technology, smart software solutions, modern innovations in cyber security and safety technology, products and services will be displayed. Including modern personal protective equipment (PPE), security cameras and other security and health-related equipment. Regarding the event, Madhu Sudhan Saha, Managing Director of organizing institution I-Station Limited, said, 'In this era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technology is changing every day. The nature of security and safety technology is also changing accordingly. Therefore, the risk to people's property and lives in the country is increasing. In the current context of the pace of technological revolution in the world and security threats, the protection of personal, institutional and state property is more important than at any time before. In the context of Bangladesh's industrialization and urbanization progress, a modern security infrastructure is needed. I believe the 'International Security and Safety Expo' will create opportunities to apply global technology to local reality. At the same time, it will prepare domestic manufacturers, suppliers, importers, software security sectors and cyber security sector entrepreneurs and businesspeople in the country's electronic product security and safety sectors, as well as the government, to face future challenges.'
Co-organizing institution Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) President Mohammad Zahirul Islam said, 'Bangladesh's industrialization, infrastructure development and urbanization are rapidly progressing with the pace of time. Modernizing our security system in line with this development is a demand of the time. Through the 'International Security and Safety Expo' event, an important initiative has been taken to connect domestic security and safety needs with international innovations and solutions. Large domestic and foreign security and safety technology institutions, policymakers and experts will participate in this. They will showcase new security and safety technologies from around the world, share experiences and find opportunities to work together. This event is not just an exhibition, it is also a timely step towards giving future direction. I hope this event will open a new chapter in Bangladesh's security and safety sector.'   This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
