Islami Andolan to Hold Nationwide Demonstrations Backing July Charter

Bangla Press Desk: Islami Andolan Bangladesh has announced “mass processions” across all the 64 districts of the country on 5 August to press the government on implementing the July Charter in its “complete form.”

On the day, the Islamic Party’s chief Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Pir Charmonai) would also lead a mass rally at the Paltan intersection in the capital, said a press statement issued Monday.

The rally would begin around 11am, and by noon, a mass procession would be launched from the site.
