Jamaat delegates meet chief adviser
Bangla Press Desk: A four-member delegation led by Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman visited the state guesthouse Jamuna on Sunday to hold a meeting with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus to discuss contemporary political issues.
The delegation arrived at Jamuna at around 6:30pm.
Alongside Shafiqur, the delegation included the party’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, Secretary General Prof Mia Golam Parwar, and Assistant Secretary General Rafiqul Islam Khan.
The meeting was confirmed by Ehsanul Mahbub Zubayer, assistant secretary general and head of the Central Media and Publicity Department of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Discussions are expected to focus on the country’s recent political situation, election-related matters, and advice for the government.
