Jamaat postpones 3 Jan grand rally

Bangla Press Desk Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has postponed its previously announced grand rally scheduled for 3 January.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar said the decision was taken as admission tests for first-year undergraduate (honours) programmes for the 2025–26 academic year at nine agricultural universities across the country will be held on the same day.

“As the admission tests of nine agricultural and agriculture- focused universities are scheduled for 3 January, the previously announced grand rally of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on that day has been postponed,” the statement said.
