Bangla Press Desk: Members of the joint forces have cordoned off a building belonging to former lawmaker Haji Mohammad Salim in the Dayera Sharif area of Azimpur in the capital.
The building was seen surrounded around noon (12pm) on Sunday.
According to sources, six luxury vehicles were recovered from a concealed room in the building’s underground parking area. The building’s manager has been detained for questioning in connection with the discovery.
The building, known as Gulshanara Masuda Tower, reportedly housed among the seized vehicles one bearing the logo of a Member of Parliament. However, the manager was unable to provide accurate information about the ownership or use of the cars.
