Bangla Press Desk: The interim government has decided to observe state mourning on 16 July (Wednesday), marking “July Martyrs’ Day”.
This decision was announced in a notification signed by Cabinet Division Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid on Tuesday.
On the occasion, the national flag will be hoisted at half-mast on all government, semi-government, autonomous, and private institutions and educational establishments as well as Bangladesh missions abroad.
Besides, special prayers will be offered at all the mosques across the country and other worship places, seeking eternal peace for the departed souls.
