July Uprising martyr Mugdho’s brother Snigdho joins BNP

Bangla Press Desk: Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdho, the twin brother of July Uprising martyr Mir Mahfuzur Rahman Mugdho, has joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.

Snigdho, who also serves as the deputy chief national commissioner of the Bangladesh Scouts, received the membership document from BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office in Dhaka on Tuesday night.

BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman participated in the event virtually from London.

The party’s Standing Committee members, Nazrul Islam Khan and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Dhaka metropolitan north unit convener Aminul Haque, and Snigdho’s father, Mostafizur Rahman, were also present. This article was originally published on the Daily Sun.
