Kajol expresses her desire to act in Bengali films

Bangla Press Desk: Bollywood's famous actress Kajal. She has captivated the audience since the nineties of the last century. Her influence is still not less. She has now received the 'Best of the Year 2026' award from Anandabazar.com, West Bengal, India.
Kajal's roots are in Bengali. However, she cannot speak Bengali properly. After receiving the award on Friday, she was asked if she watches Bengali films. She replied frankly, 'No'. However, the actress expressed her interest in acting in Bengali films if time and opportunity coincide.
Kajal's mother Tanuja is a famous actress in India. She was quite dominant in Bengali as well as Hindi. Has Kajal been able to be like her mother? In response to the question, she said, 'I am still trying. My mother is a very great actress. I have walked the path shown by my mother all my life.'
In between conversations, Kajal also said that she is very disciplined. Her comment is, 'I am very disciplined. There are very few people in Bollywood who come to the set at the right time, but I am one of them. I also leave the set at the right time. That is my nature.'
Incidentally, this time, apart from Kajol, Paoli Dam, Dev, Nikita Gandhi, Bratya Basu and many others have received the 'Best of the Year' award from Anandabazar.
