Kangana on the protest: 'A conspiracy to destabilize the country'

Bangla Press Desk: Actress and BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has labeled the leadership of the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP)—which is agitating for the resignation of India's Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar—as "anti-national forces."
She alleged that a conspiracy is underway to destabilize the country through these protests.
Responding to questions from journalists on Saturday evening (October 10) regarding the protests and detentions in Delhi, Kangana said, "Look at how people are now exposing these anti-national forces. Forget the police; ordinary citizens will now catch them and hold them accountable, because people have started to recognize them."
Kangana added that various forces are working to protect the country. However, she also emphasized the need to remain vigilant in handling such situations to ensure that ordinary citizens do not face any hardship.
Kangana made these remarks while en route to Ayodhya after arriving in Lucknow. She stated that she plans to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya to offer prayers and seek blessings from Ram Lalla. Kangana is the incumbent MP representing the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh.
The Delhi Police implemented massive security measures on Saturday in response to the protest called by the CJP demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Alleging irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of the electoral rolls, the protesters claimed that many voters' names were unfairly removed under the guise of revision. They demanded greater transparency throughout the process.
The CJP had called for a large-scale rally at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on October 10. However, police detained the party's top leaders before the protesters could reach the venue. Reports indicate that over 6,000 people were detained across Delhi on Saturday; another estimate puts the figure at around 7,000. Most of those detained were subsequently released.
According to reports, strict control was established across the capital with the deployment of approximately 41,000 security personnel. The detainees included students, lawyers, and politicians, as well as four former Chief Ministers. Source: Hindustan Times
