Khaleda Zia’s health improves slightly
Bangla Press Desk: BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, has shown slight improvement in her condition.
Doctors at Evercare said the BNP chief, who remains under intensive monitoring, is occasionally responding when called—an improvement compared to the previous three days.
A medical board comprising local and foreign specialists, supported by Evercare’s doctors and nurses, is providing round-the-clock care. BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman is also maintaining constant communication regarding her treatment.
Party sources said that although her overall health has not improved significantly, she is responding to treatment.
Earlier, at a press conference at the party’s Naya Paltan office on Sunday, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said Khaleda Zia’s condition has not deteriorated, but there has been no notable improvement either, indicating that her health remains stable.
