Nahid Islam to contest from Dhaka-11

Bangla Press Desk:   National Citizen Party (NCP) has announced its first preliminary list of candidates for the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections.

The party’s chief, Nahid Islam, will contest from Dhaka-11 with Shapla Kali symbol. The Dhaka-11 constituency comprises Badda, Bhatara, and Rampura areas.

Party’s Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain announced the names of those who have been initially nominated at a press conference held at the party’s temporary office in Bangla Motor, Dhaka on Wednesday (10 December) at 11am.

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) earlier announced its preliminary candidate for the same seat on 3 November, naming MA Kaiyum as its nominee.
