Bangla Press Desk: World-famous American pop star Katy Perry has once again found herself in the middle of a serious controversy. Josh Close, her co-star in the famous music video 'Teenage Dream', has accused Perry of sexual misconduct. Josh Close has described the incident in detail and called it a 'silent trauma'.Meanwhile, a police investigation is still ongoing in Australia based on another allegation made by actress Ruby Rose.
In an interview with Page Six on Friday (April 24), Josh Kloss, 45, alleged that Katy Perry pulled down his pants and underwear in front of everyone at a party in 2012.
Kloss said the incident occurred at a birthday party for a close friend of Perry's, two years after they worked together on the 2010 video for "Teenage Dream."Kloss said, "When I went to greet him with a friend, he suddenly pulled down my pants without any warning. I screamed in shock, but he just laughed."
Kloss first opened up about the incident on Instagram in 2019. However, she was met with ridicule and disdain at the time. Many told her that it was "lucky" for her to receive such treatment from a star like Perry.
Kloss said, "The person I should be grateful to has humiliated and humiliated me to the highest level in front of her closest people. Why should I be grateful for that? The hardest thing in public is when people don't want to believe you."
Katy Perry's response
In a 2020 interview with The Guardian, Perry did not directly respond to Kloss's accusations. However, she did say, "We live in a world where anyone can say whatever they want. I don't respond to everything that's said about me, because I have to spend my whole life trying to prove it.'
Meanwhile, Kloss's accusation comes at a time when Katy Perry is already under pressure over allegations of sexual harassment by Australian actress Ruby Rose.
On April 11 of this month, Ruby Rose alleged that Perry sexually harassed her at a nightclub in Melbourne in 2010.
Victoria Police confirmed that Melbourne's 'Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team' has opened an investigation into the 2010 incident. However, Perry's spokesperson called the allegations 'completely false' and 'dangerous and irresponsible lies'. Source: Geo News
