New Divisional Head Named for Dhaka, DCs Posted in Sylhet and Cumilla

The current Deputy Commissioner of Cumilla, Md Reza Hasan, has been transferred and appointed as the deputy commissioner of Sylhet

Bangla Press Desk: The government has appointed Mohammad Moniruzzaman Mia, an additional secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, as the new divisional commissioner of Dhaka.

The Ministry of Public Administration also appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) for Sylhet and Cumilla through separate notifications issued on Sunday.

Under the new appointments, the current Deputy Commissioner of Cumilla, Md Reza Hasan, has been transferred and appointed as the deputy commissioner of Sylhet.

Meanwhile, Rozy Akter, a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been appointed as the new deputy commissioner of Cumilla.

The post of Sylhet deputy commissioner had remained vacant since 21 June, when the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification withdrawing Sarwar Alam from the position. Source: daily Sun
