Ninth BCS Forum holds annual reunion

Members of the Ninth BCS Forum organised their annual reunion at the Officers’ Club in Dhaka on Monday (26 January).

Acting President of the Ninth BCS Forum Dr Md Sazzad Hossain Bhuiya, also the chairman of the Bangladesh Financial Reporting Council, chaired the event. 

Among those who took part in the discussion were the Forum’s Secretary General, Shish Haider Chowdhury, NDC, Secretary of the ICT Division; Vice-President, retired Additional Secretary Sakiyun Nahar Begum, NDC; and Executive Committee member and Senior Secretary (PRL) Md Shamsul Alam.

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land, A S M Saleh Ahmed, and former Secretary and Chairman of Palli Sanchay Bank, Abdul Khalek, addressed the discussion as honourable guests.

Members of the ninth BCS batch joined government service on 26 January 1991. To commemorate the occasion, the Ninth BCS Forum organises the reunion annually on this date. Forum members were joined at the event by their family members.

The programme included reminiscences, cultural performances, a raffle draw, fair games and common gifts for all participants. The event concluded with a dinner.
