Bangla Press Desk: Two of country’s most loved small-screen stars, Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury, are finally set to appear together in a full-length feature film, much to the excitement of their fans. After years of ruling television and OTT platforms with their powerful performances, the popular pair are now preparing to make their long-awaited on-screen pairing on the big screen.
The film has been officially titled “Pulsirat”, a romantic thriller that promises a mix of emotion, suspense, and cinematic scale. The project will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vicky Zahed.
Both Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury will play the two central characters in the film. While their character details are still being kept under wraps.
The film’s title has already been officially registered with the Bangladesh Film Directors Association, and preparations for shooting are expected to begin soon. The production is being handled by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited, a joint venture known for backing large-scale and content-driven projects in the region.
Shahriar Shakil, Managing Director of SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited, confirmed to media that discussions with both stars are currently underway.
“We are in talks with Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury. Things are moving positively, but the final agreement has not been signed yet,” he said.
Afran Nisho has recently completed work on the movie “Domm”, further establishing his presence in cinema after years of dominating television and web content.
Mehazabien Chowdhury, on the other hand, is currently busy shooting for director Shihab Shaheen’s new web series “Cactus”, where she stars opposite popular singer and actor Pritom Hasan.
The announcement of “Pulsirat” has already created a buzz on social media, with fans expressing excitement about finally seeing Nisho and Mehazabien together in a theatrical release.
