NSU hosts policymaking competition to empower future diplomats
  Bangla Press Desk:  The Ethics and Diversity Club (EDC) of North South University (NSU) sponsored by Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) successfully organised “Diplomacy Reimagined: Policy Making Case Competition 2025” at the university’s Syndicate Hall on Saturday. The event provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their analytical and problem-solving skills in the realm of international relations and diplomacy. Designed to cultivate forward-thinking diplomacy, the summit encouraged participants to develop practical solutions to today’s pressing global issues. It promoted an atmosphere of critical thinking, collaboration, and evidence-based dialogue, said a press release.
The event opened with engaging discussions on modern geopolitical landscapes, followed by the highly anticipated policy making case competition. Competing teams were tasked with addressing real-world diplomatic scenarios through innovative and strategic policy proposals. A total of 14 teams from NSU entered the initial round of the competition. After a rigorous evaluation, seven exceptional teams advanced to the final stage. Each team delivered impactful presentations that offered feasible and insightful solutions to complex global challenges.
A distinguished panel of judges praised participants for their diplomatic acumen, analytical depth, and originality, offering valuable feedback that enriched the educational experience.
