Omar Sani saluted Bapparaj
Bangla Press Desk: Omar Sani and Bapparaj were two highly popular actors in Dhakai cinema. They worked together in numerous films and share a close, friendly bond off-screen as well.
Reflecting on this friendship, Omar Sani shared an emotional post about Bapparaj, in which he not only praised his friend but also highlighted his mischievous nature.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday (October 20), Omar Sani described Bapparaj as a good person, a great friend, and someone who is always cheerful and full of mischief.
Recalling their time working together, Omar Sani wrote, "Bapparaj is a good human being, a true friend—a mischievous yet cheerful companion."
He added, "We worked on many films together. He has absolutely no ego. Sometimes I would wonder—given that he is the son of 'Nayakraj' (the legendary Razzak) and such a talented artist—why would he choose to work with us? But he would always say that, at the end of the day, the work itself is what matters most."
The actor further noted, "He used to be so mischievous—and he still is! If we had mobile phones back in those days, his antics would have gone viral for sure."
Expressing his respect, Omar Sani wrote, "Bapparaj bhai, I salute you for one particular reason: you have no bad habits whatsoever. In fact, compared to you, we are the ones who are 'bad'!"
Returning to the topic of his mischievous side, he added playfully, "I take pride in having Bapparaj as a contemporary from my generation. But, at the end of the day, I have to say—you really are quite the mischief-maker!"
