Opportunities for higher education in the US, with scholarships worth approximately 7.5 million taka

Bangla Press Desk: US-based technology company NVIDIA has invited applications for its Graduate Fellowship for the 2027–28 academic year. Selected PhD students will receive a grant of up to $60,000 (approximately 7.5 million BDT).

Students conducting research in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, autonomous vehicles, and related areas are eligible to apply. The fellowship is open to students from across the globe.

Fellowship Benefits

Each selected student will receive a grant of up to $60,000.

The funds will be managed through the student's university.

The grant may be used to cover stipends, tuition fees, and mandatory university fees. As part of the fellowship, recipients are required to complete an in-person summer internship at an NVIDIA research facility. This internship must be completed before the start of the fellowship academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be pursuing a PhD in computer science, computer engineering, systems architecture, electrical engineering, or a related field. Candidates must have completed their first year of PhD studies at the time of application and be actively engaged in research for their thesis or dissertation.

Applicants must remain enrolled as full-time PhD students throughout the nine-month fellowship period. Those who plan to complete their PhD during this timeframe are not eligible to apply.

Selected candidates must be able to complete an in-person summer internship at an NVIDIA research facility. Full-time NVIDIA employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.

Required Documentation

Applicants must submit a research summary or a thesis/dissertation proposal, not exceeding two pages. References may be included; however, they will not be counted toward the two-page limit.

Additionally, a resume or CV—including contact information—must be submitted. Applicants are required to provide at least two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from their research supervisor or a professor. A maximum of three letters of recommendation may be submitted. Furthermore, applicants must confirm their commitment to participate in the designated summer internship.

Interested candidates must first create a profile on the NVIDIA Fellowship application portal. Following this, they should provide the required information and submit a research summary or thesis proposal, a CV, and any other necessary documentation.
