Pace trio breathe fire to bundle Pakistan out for 110
Bangla Press Desk: Mustafizur  Rahman’s economical bowling along with Taskin Ahmed and Tanzim Hasan Sakib’s regular breakthroughs helped Tigers bundle Pakistan out for 110 in the first T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Sunday. Mustafizur conceded only 6 runs from his 4 overs and picked up 2 wickets. This is his most economical bowling in T20I cricket. Taskin Ahmed picked up 3 wickets for 22 runs including a brace in the last over. Sakib too bowled brilliantly picking up a wicket for 20 runs. Pakistan started off with an attacking approach scoring 32 in the first 3 overs but couldn’t keep up with the momentum due to losing wickets at regular intervals.
Fakhar Zaman was the top scorer with 44 to his name. Abbas Afridi scored 22. Bangladesh will need to score 111 to go 1-0 up in the three-match series. This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
