Bangla Press Desk: The long-awaited biopic of Pritilata Waddedar, the heroine of the anti-British movement, Pritilata Waddedar, is set to resume after a long wait. Producer Rashid Palash has said that he plans to start shooting for the film starring actress Parimoni in April next year. The film was supposed to start shooting in 2020, but it was stopped due to various complications.
Earlier, the film's shooting began in late 2020. About 30 percent of the shooting was completed then, most of which was in Dhaka. After the release of the first look of Parimoni as Pritilata in 2021, there was a lot of interest among the audience. Although the work was stalled for various reasons, including Parimoni's maternity break, they are now fully prepared to go into the field. If all goes well, the shooting of the remaining parts will begin in Chittagong locations after Eid in April 2026.
Director Rashid Palash has shared a picture with Parimoni on social media. The producer wrote in the post - This time Pritilata will also end, InshaAllah 2026. Parimoni commented under that post, saying, 'I am also ready'. This makes it clear that actress Parimoni is standing in front of the camera as Pritilata again in the new year, overcoming all the complications.
