Sarjis takes a dig at Rashed's post.
People don't value you even two takas.
Bangla Press Desk: Rashed Khan, the Prime Minister's political assistant, made a post on his Facebook page regarding Sarjis Alam, the northern region chief organizer of the National Citizens' Party (NCP). Sarjis himself commented on that post.
Rashed made the post at 9:48 PM on Tuesday (October 13). His post is reproduced verbatim below:
"Sarjis Alam—who used to lick the feet of Saddam and Inan every day just to secure a post in Chhatra League—is now making grand statements about us. With what audacity does that sycophant Sarjis Alam—who failed to secure a position despite hailing Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a father figure—dare to mock us?
He—whose hair spikes remained perfectly intact and whose *panjabi* stayed crisp without a single crease during the mass uprising, and who became a leader by sheer coincidence while sipping juice at the DB office—now questions our movements and struggles. They claim we compromised with Sheikh Hasina in 2018 and settled for quota reform instead of toppling the government. Let us assume, for the sake of argument, that we did compromise. Yet, in the period following 2018—when we were engaged in the fight against Sheikh Hasina and repeatedly beaten on campus—this very Sarjis Alam was busy fawning over Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, practically foaming at the mouth in his sycophancy.

Has the nation forgotten how the 'July traitor' Sarjis Alam trampled over the blood of martyrs to sit in meetings with Awami League ministers? Has the nation forgotten how, even after Nahid and Asif were abducted or taken into DB custody, Sarjis and Hasnat roamed around in intelligence agency vehicles during the curfew?"Meanwhile, commenting on that post by Rashed Khan, Sarjis Alam wrote, "No matter what you say, brother, or how much you try to grab the spotlight—people don't value you at all."
