PM Participates in Ansar-VDP 46th National Rally

Bangla Press Desk:  Prime Minister Tarique Rahman joined the 46th National Rally of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.

The premier arrived at the parade ground of the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy in Safipur under Kaliakair upazila around 10:00 am.

On his arrival, he was received by Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the Home Ministry Manzur Morshed Chowdhury and Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud.

Later, Tarique Rahman paid tribute to the martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War by placing wreaths at a monument dedicated to the valiant sons of the soil.He then took his seat on the stage at the parade ground, where an attractive drill display on the July Mass Uprising of 2024 was presented. After the performance concluded, the prime minister approached the participating members and shook hands with them.

Cabinet members, Members of Parliament, and directors of Ansar and VDP were present at the colourful event.
