Bangla Press Desk: The National Central Bureau (NCB) of police has formally requested Interpol to issue red notices for 12 individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, following her ousting in the July coup.
Police spokesperson Enamul Haque Sagar confirmed that the requests were submitted in three phases, citing directions from the court, prosecution, and investigating agencies.
The list also includes senior Awami League figures such as General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former ministers Asaduzzaman Khan and Hasan Mahmud, and other ex-officials like former IGP Benazir Ahmed
and former Dhaka South Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh.
Authorities say the objective is to bring these individuals, currently at large outside the country, back to face legal proceedings, local news outlets report. Source: FE
