Prime Minister opens doctors’ rally

Bangla Press Desk:   Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday inaugurated a doctors’ rally on the occasion of the 37th founding anniversary of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB).

He inaugurated the rally at the LD Hall of Jatiya Sangshad here this morning.

Earlier, the primer planted a neem sapling on the premises of Jatiya Sangshad. At the same time, his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman also planted a sapling there.

Then, Tarique Rahman started the next programme by hoisting the national flag with the national anthem. Before starting the rally, they released two pigeons, as symbols of peace.

LGRD and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Social Welfare Minister Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, Prime Minister's spouse Dr Zubaida Rahman, DAB President Professor Dr Harun Al Rashid, Secretary General Dr Md Zahirul Islam Shakil were present, among others.
