Prime Minister to confer Ekushey Padak today

Bangla Press Desk:  Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will confer the country’s second-highest civilian award Ekushey Padak today.The award giving ceremony will be held at 11:00am on Thursday at the capital’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium.The government has decided to honour nine distinguished individuals and one institution this year in recognition of their outstanding and notable contributions in various fields.Cabinet members, senior military and civil officials, and invited guests are expected to attend the ceremony, alongside the award recipients and representatives of the honoured institution.Source: daily Sun
