Bangla Press Desk: The Ministry of Railways has urged passengers to follow health guidelines and wear masks during their return journeys after Eid-ul-Azha.
In a press release on Sunday, the ministry made the urge following a public advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
On 6 June, the health ministry requested people to wear masks in crowded areas in the wake of recent increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.
“Given the rising COVID-19 infection rate, everyone is being requested to wear masks in crowded places. Particularly, elderly and ill individuals are advised to avoid such places,” it said.
