Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda to Marry in Feb 2026

Bangla Press Desk: If one were to tweak Bob Dylan’s classic “Blowin’ in the Wind” slightly, the line might read: “How many roads must one walk before love finds its way?” The answer, it seems, is about seven years — for actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is finally set to make her seven-year-long relationship with actor Vijay Deverakonda official.

Rashmika, who began her acting career in Karnataka, was earlier engaged to her Kirik Party co-star Rakshit Shetty in 2016. However, within a year, both their relationship and engagement came to an end. Shortly after, Rashmika fell in love with her Geetha Govindam co-star Vijay Deverakonda — and the rest, as they say, is history.

Now, seven years later, the much-talked-about couple have taken the next step. According to reliable sources, Rashmika and Vijay exchanged rings on October 3 this year in Hyderabad in a private, low-key ceremony attended by close friends and family.

It is further learnt that the wedding is scheduled for February 2026 and is likely to be a destination affair in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Although the couple has not officially confirmed Udaipur as the wedding venue, Rashmika has reportedly acknowledged their engagement during the October ceremony in Hyderabad.

On the professional front, Rashmika continues to balance multiple projects in Hindi cinema — including Chhava, Sikandar, Kubera, and Thamma, along with two upcoming films, Cocktail 2 and Maisa. Vijay Deverakonda, meanwhile, is busy with the pre-production of filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan’s new period drama following his last outing, Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.

Close associates of the couple have neither confirmed nor denied the wedding speculation, but all indications point toward a February 2026 celebration of their long-standing relationship. This article was originally published on the Daily Sun.
