Bangla Press Desk: Due to the recent post-flood situation, the remaining HSC and equivalent examinations of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Chittagong and the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board under the Chittagong Board and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board have been postponed until further orders.
This information was given in a press release of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Thursday (July 16).
The release said that the decision has been taken considering the overall situation in the flood-affected areas, the mental and physical condition of the examinees, discussions with stakeholders and the hardship caused to the examinees in traveling to the examination centers due to the damaged road communication due to the flood.
As a result, the remaining examinations of the HSC, Alim, HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce examinations of the Chittagong Education Board and its Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board will not be held until further orders. The revised schedule of the postponed examinations will be announced later through a notification.
However, the examinations of other education boards in the country and the examinations of Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board (except the districts under Chittagong Board) in other districts will be held as per the previously announced schedule.
President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, has requested the concerned educational institutions, examinees and all concerned to take necessary measures in this regard. Source: jugantor
