Bangla Press Desk: The shooting of Mehedi Hasan Hridoy’s upcoming film Rakkhosh is currently in full swing in Sri Lanka, with an eye on release during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival. The unit arrived in the country earlier this month.
Siam Ahmed and Tollywood actress Susmita Chatterjee have teamed up for the first time in this romantic-action film, and both stars are actively participating in the Sri Lanka schedule.
It has also been learned that small-screen actress Sadnima Binte Noman, who received praise for her performance in the web film “Little Miss Chaos”, will be seen opposite Siam Ahmed in Rakkhosh. This marks her debut on the big screen. The information has been confirmed by sources close to the production company.
According to those sources, Sadnima completed her portion of the shoot in Sri Lanka and returned home a few days ago. However, the director and his team have not yet made any official comment on the matter.
The production house further revealed that the drama portions and a major action sequence have already been filmed in Sri Lanka. After wrapping up the remaining scenes, the entire unit is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on 30 January.
If everything goes according to plan, Rakkhosh will hit theatres this Eid-ul-Fitr.
