Bangla Press Desk: The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh, Dr Abdullah Zafer H. Bin Abiyah, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff (CAS) of the Bangladesh Army General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged warm greetings and discussed ways to deepen military-to-military cooperation between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh Army said in a Facebook post.
The discussions focused on exploring new opportunities for collaboration in defense training, capacity building, and strategic partnerships, the post said.
The Saudi envoy praised the Bangladesh Army’s role in ensuring national security and maintaining internal stability.
