Bangla Press Desk: Bangladesh all-rounder Shamim Hossain missed the team’s practice session at the R Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday due to a headache, a day before the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka.
Team officials said the 24-year-old was advised rest as a precaution and will be assessed later.
Shamim played a key role in Bangladesh’s 83-run win in the second T20I in Dambulla, scoring a quick 48 runs innings help level the series 1-1. His aggressive batting in the middle overs has been crucial for the Tigers in recent months.
