Signs of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal

Bangla Press Desk: An extension of a low-pressure area currently stretches toward the northern Bay of Bengal. Furthermore, there is a possibility that a new low-pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea—part of the Bay of Bengal—and its adjacent regions within the next few days.
This information was provided in a forecast issued on Sunday (October 18) by Dr. Md. Omar Faruque, a meteorologist at the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The forecast indicates that, as a result, rain or thundershowers may occur in one or two places within the Chattogram division. In other parts of the country, however, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies.
The Meteorological Office stated that by 9:00 AM on Monday (October 19), the weather across the country is likely to remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Daytime and nighttime temperatures may decrease slightly across the country.
From 9:00 AM on Monday (October 20) and for the following 24 hours, no significant changes in the weather are expected; conditions are likely to remain dry. Daytime temperatures across the country will remain nearly unchanged, while nighttime temperatures may see a slight decline.
