Bangla Press Desk: The government will publish the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations’ results today at 10am.
According to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, students can check their results from their respective institutions, education boards’ websites, and via SMS. Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon will inaugurate the publication of the results at the ministry’s conference room.
Checking results via SMS
To check results by SMS, students should type SSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board’s name in English, another space, their roll number, another space, and the examination year, then send the message to 16140 or 16222 from any mobile operator.
For example, the SMS for a student of the Dhaka Education Board would look like this: ‘SSC DHA 123456 2026.’
The results will also be available on the websites eduboardresults.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd, as well as at the education ministry and newspaper offices.
Students wishing to apply for re-scrutiny of their results will be able to submit applications online from 11 to 17 August.
Detailed instructions will be published through notices on the education boards’ websites.A total of 1,857,344 students, including 1,418,398 SSC, 304,286 Dakhil, and 134,660 Vocational (both SSC and Dakhil), took part in this year’s examinations. Of those, 930,305 are male and 927,039 are female.
All education institutions concerned will be able to download their result sheets by entering their EIIN on the eduboardresults.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd websites.
