Bangla Press Desk: The Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG) announced Monday that it would cut some 900 jobs over the next three years as it strives to reduce costs "amid upheavals in the media landscape".
The broadcasting group, which operates channels in Switzerland's four national languages, said it needed to save 270 million Swiss francs ($334 million) by 2029, requiring it to "eliminate 900 fulltime-equivalent positions" out of about 7,100 currently.
