Bangla Press Desk: Tamim Iqbal could return to competitive cricket through the upcoming edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), according to Bangladesh Cricket Board’s tournament committee chairman Akram Khan.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Akram said discussions are ongoing with regional teams, and there's hope that senior players including Tamim, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad will feature in the NCL T20.
“I hope that all three will play,” Akram said.
“Tamim has talked with Chittagong. Most probably Mushfiq requested the selectors to play for Sylhet. Riyad hasn’t said anything like this, but definitely he will play. He should play.” This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
