Tarique Rahman extends support to Nirob Hossain’s family

Bangla Press Desk: On the advice of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, senior party leaders from the Barishal division have stood by the family of the late Nirob Hossain.

BNP Barishal Divisional Joint Organising Secretary Akon Quddusur Rahman attended the namaj-e-janaza of Nirob Hossain, while other divisional leaders visited the bereaved family to convey condolences on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

Nirob Hossain, from Barishal, fell ill while attending the funeral prayers of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and later passed away. He was the father of Tahsin Hossain Nahiyan, who was injured during the July movement.

Following his death news, BNP Barishal Divisional Organising Secretary Advocate Bilkis Jahan Shirin and Joint Organising Secretary Akon Quddusur Rahman rushed to the deceased’s family in Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali district. On behalf of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, they sent a condolence message expressing deep sympathy to the bereaved family.Akon Quddusur Rahman also handed over financial assistance to the family of the deceased on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

In addition, Advocate Bilkis Jahan Shirin and Akon Quddusur Rahman said they have taken responsibility for overseeing the medical treatment of July-injured Nahiyan on behalf of the BNP acting chairman.
