Bangla Press Desk:  BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman returned to Bangladesh after more than 17 years in exile, touching the soil of his beloved homeland barefoot—a symbolic gesture that has captured widespread attention.

Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Tarique Rahman stepped out of the aircraft and pressed his feet to the ground, a moment that resonated deeply with party supporters and well-wishers present at the airport.

The gesture was seen as a sign of respect and emotional connection to his motherland.

Leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) were present to welcome him, exchanging greetings and expressing their excitement over his return.

The symbolic act has sparked a wave of enthusiasm among party members and supporters nationwide.
