Bangla Press Desk: BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed said that after returning to the country following more than 17 years abroad, party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has won the hearts of the people.
He said that Tarique Rahman has returned home, observed the situation, and earned the people’s love.
Salahuddin Ahmed made the comments in a Facebook post on his verified account on Friday.
In the post, Salahuddin Ahmed wrote that Tarique Rahman is a visionary leader of the 21st century who has demonstrated clear plans for the people and a deep commitment to the nation.
Quoting a part of Tarique Rahman’s speech, he wrote: “I have a plan—for the people of my country, for my country.”
At the end of the post, he wrote: “He came, he saw, he conquered.”
Earlier on Thursday at around 11:45am, Tarique Rahman arrived in Dhaka with his family. After landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, he went directly to a reception program organised in the 300 Feet area of Purbachal.
After the reception, he visited his mother, who is receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital. Later, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman returned to his residence in Gulshan.
