Tarique visits grave of younger brother Arafat

Bangla Press Desk:   BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman visited the grave of his younger brother, noted sports organiser Arafat Rahman Koko, at Banani Graveyard in the capital on Saturday. 

Senior BNP leaders accompanied Tarique Rahman during the grave visit. At the site, they recited verses from the Holy Quran and offered prayers.

Arafat Rahman was born in Dhaka in 1969. He died of a heart attack in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 24 January 2015. 

Koko is survived by his wife and two daughters, Jafia Rahman and Jahia Rahman. He served as a member of the Advisory Council of the Bangladesh Cricket Board from 2003 to 2005.
