Taskin, Nahid, Rishad land in ILT20 top bracket

Bangla Press Desk:: Bangladesh internationals Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain on Tuesday emerged as Bangladesh’s most expensive players in the upcoming International League T20 (ILT20) auction, all placed in the top US$80,000 base-price category.

More than 400 cricketers from 23 countries have registered for the auction, with 10 Bangladesh players featuring across three base-price brackets.

The Bangladesh trio share the top category with several international stars, including Babar Azam, Faf du Plessis, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Chris Woakes, Alex Hales, Naseem Shah and Phil Salt.

Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Shakib Al Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto are in the US$40,000 category.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Jaker Ali Anik and Mehidy Hasan Miraz have been listed at the US$10,000 base price.

Mustafizur Rahman, meanwhile, has already secured a place in the competition through the pre-signing process, with the left-arm pacer set to represent Dubai Capitals.
